The Brent Reese Family Foundation was established in 2023, but its roots were planted decades earlier through one man's journey of recovery, gratitude, and service. 

After achieving sobriety in 1989, Brent Reese came to believe that recovery is more than overcoming addiction, it is about rebuilding lives, restoring hope, and giving back. That belief became a defining principle in both his personal life and his professional career. 

In 2017, Brent co-founded Victory Bay Recovery Center, combining his entrepreneurial experience with his passion for helping others find lasting recovery. Three years later, he helped launch Harmony Bay Wellness to expand access to high-quality mental health care. Together, these organizations grew into Advantage Behavioral Health Network, serving thousands of individuals and families while demonstrating that compassionate, evidence-based care can transform lives. 

Long before establishing the Foundation, Brent was quietly supporting charitable causes around the world. He funded the construction of a primary school in rural China, helping provide children with access to education and opportunity. In Costa Rica, he supported an orphanage by building a learning center, purchasing a transportation van, and funding safety improvements. He also partnered with organizations such as Children's Miracle Network and the National Breast Cancer Foundation, helping raise awareness and financial support through creative fundraising initiatives. 

Earlier in his career, Brent found success as an entrepreneur, most notably as the creator of Kooky Klicker® pens, a product that became a nationwide phenomenon. That success gave him the ability to give, but it was his recovery journey that shaped how he chose to give. 

In 2023, Brent established the Brent Reese Family Foundation to bring greater purpose, focus, and accountability to his philanthropy. Rather than operating its own programs, the Foundation partners with outstanding nonprofit organizations that have proven leadership, measurable outcomes, and the ability to create lasting change. 

Today, the Foundation focuses its grantmaking in three areas: Women & Children at Risk, Mental Health & Addiction Recovery, and Environmental Conservation. Every grant is restricted to a clearly defined purpose and guided by the Foundation's core values of Purpose, Action, Opportunity, and Love.
